Nepal has some of the greatest outdoor terrain on Earth — eight of the world's fourteen highest mountains, centuries-old trade trails, national parks that stretch from the Terai to the Tibetan plateau. Yet finding a trail, understanding a route and staying found on it has remained surprisingly hard.
Trailma started in Kathmandu with a simple conviction: the digital experience of exploring Nepal's outdoors should be as rich as the outdoors itself. One place to discover a trail, plan the adventure, follow the route, track the journey and remember it — built by people who walk these trails, for people who walk these trails.
We are not trying to be a generic global app that happens to work in Nepal. We are built for Nepal — its trails, its villages, its teahouses, its seasons and its people. That focus is the whole point.
